OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
To install, maintain, test, and repair climate control, cooling, and refrigeration systems, while ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably to maintain required temperature, humidity, and air quality standards.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections on HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial kitchen equipment in line with schedules and supervisor directives.
Maintain high equipment availability and reliability through effective fault diagnosis, timely repairs, and completion of planned maintenance activities.
Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities meet required technical, HSE, LOTO, refrigerant handling, and gas safety standards.
Coordinate health and safety aspects of engineering operations, including contractor safety management and risk assessments.
Prepare for Health, Safety and Environment audits and support the management of effluent containment facilities.
Maintain accurate maintenance and service records to support engineering operations.

- HND in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from recognized institutions.
- Certified HVAC Technician or similar accreditation.
- Minimum of 4-6 years’
Experience
- in Heating Ventilation Air Condition and Industrial Kitchen Equipment Systems installation in a mining industry.
- Knowledge & Skills
