Tobinco Pharmaceuticals Limited is recruiting a Senior Marketing Officer - Brand & Product Marketing to support brand growth, product visibility and campaign delivery in Accra. The role supports the Marketing Director and works closely with the Pharmacist - Marketing Support position, sales teams, agencies and internal stakeholders to turn brand plans into market activity. The successful candidate will help execute campaigns, coordinate advertising and promotions, manage product-positioning work, follow campaign performance and contribute to market research. This is a practical marketing role for someone who understands how pharmaceutical, healthcare or FMCG products move from product strategy into customer awareness, sales support and measurable commercial outcomes. The officer should be able to coordinate several moving parts at once: digital content, agency follow-up, product-launch support, sales collaboration, brand materials, campaign reporting and market feedback. Strong communication is important, but so is discipline around KPIs, timelines, budgets, competitor tracking and the quality of marketing execution. The role will suit a marketer who is comfortable with both creative work and analytical review.
Key responsibilities
- Execute approved marketing strategies, campaigns and brand initiatives across relevant product portfolios.
- Support brand management, product positioning and product-launch activities in line with commercial priorities.
- Coordinate advertising, promotions, events, activations and other market-facing initiatives.
- Lead or support digital and social-media content development, ensuring materials are accurate, timely and brand aligned.
- Conduct market research, competitor reviews and campaign analysis to identify opportunities and improve execution.
- Work with sales teams to improve product visibility, customer engagement and market performance.
- Collaborate with the Pharmacist - Marketing Support role on pharmaceutical and technical marketing content.
- Monitor campaign performance, KPIs, return on investment and relevant market indicators.
- Coordinate external agencies, media partners and creative service providers to deliver approved marketing work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
- Professional marketing certification will be an advantage.
- Five to eight years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in brand, product or commercial marketing.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or FMCG industries is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in brand management, product launches and marketing campaigns.
- Strong digital marketing, social-media, market-research and analytical skills.
- Good communication, creativity, stakeholder-management and commercial-acumen skills.
Knowledge and Skills
Brand and product-marketing execution with strong attention to campaign detail.
Ability to coordinate sales, technical, agency and management stakeholders.
Comfort using performance data to refine marketing activity and product visibility.
