Salary range stated by the employer: GHS 8,500 to GHS 11,000 per month, plus benefits and familiarisation trips.
The role supports group and bespoke tours across West Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics for West Africa group tours and customised travel programmes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hotels, lodges, transport providers, local guides and other destination suppliers.
- Lead and support a team of operations coordinators working across Ghana, Senegal and Nigeria.
- Oversee supplier contracting, rate negotiation, capacity planning and operational readiness for upcoming tours.
- Use post-tour reviews, guest feedback and operating data to improve quality control and service delivery.
- Coordinate with sales, guiding, finance and supplier teams so itineraries move from booking to delivery without avoidable gaps.
Requirements
At least five years of experience in tour operations within Africa, ideally with strong West Africa exposure.
Proven experience leading teams and managing supplier relationships in a travel or hospitality environment.
Strong written and spoken English; French language ability will be a strong advantage.
Deep knowledge of West African destinations, travel logistics, client expectations and practical field constraints.
Highly organised, calm under pressure and able to solve problems quickly during live operations.
