Job Purpose
FarmMate Africa is hiring for its Sorting/Fulfillment team at the Tomato & Vegetable Distribution Center on the Legon Bypass, handling produce as it moves from intake through to order fulfillment.
What The Role Involves
Sort incoming tomatoes and vegetables by quality, size and grade, setting aside produce that doesn't meet standard.
Pack and prepare produce for outgoing orders, making sure fulfillment matches what customers actually ordered.
Keep the sorting and packing area clean, organised and working efficiently as volumes move through the center.
Follow basic food-handling and hygiene practices appropriate to a fresh-produce facility.
Flag quality issues, shortages or delays to the team lead as they come up.
