- To assist mine surveyors and leading hands in carrying out assigned survey tasks.
- Assist with daily pit face pick-ups and staking of TBMs on mining faces.
- Support staking out pit designs, ore mark-outs, and survey points for geology exploration and RC grade control drilling.
- Assist with stockpile surveys as required.
- Support farm surveys and line cutting projects.
- Assist in setting out ground control points for drone flights.
- Work safely, accurately, and collaboratively while supporting senior survey staff in daily survey activities.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years working
- Proficiency in the use of survey equipment, mainly total station and GPS.
- Good knowledge of UAV, mining surveying processes and practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Software, especially Excel and Access, and data management.
- High level of energy, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and proficiency in driving light vehicle.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work under direction and supervision for most tasks.
