Key responsibilities
- Supervise wellhead installation activities on offshore projects, directing field crews through each stage of the work.
- Oversee installation and testing of casing spools, wellhead housings, casing/tubing hangers, seals and running tools.
- Coordinate pressure-testing procedures and verify that results meet required standards.
- Guide and mentor field technicians, ensuring installation work follows OEM procedures and safety requirements.
- Liaise with project management and clients on installation progress, issues and schedule.
- Maintain compliance with offshore safety and medical certification requirements throughout assignments.
Requirements
8-10+ years of wellhead installation experience, with significant offshore experience supervising wellhead installation activities.
Hands-on experience with casing spools, wellhead housings, casing/tubing hangers, seals, running tools and pressure testing.
Relevant Engineering or Technical qualification.
OEM wellhead installation training is highly desirable.
Valid offshore safety certification such as BOSIET/FOET or an applicable equivalent.
Valid offshore medical clearance and any other client-required certifications.
