Job Description
- Purpose
- The Branch Manager, AIM provides branch-level leadership for BRAC Ghana Savings and Loans programme activities, ensuring that operational targets, portfolio quality, client service, staff supervision, compliance and reporting are effectively managed.
- Major
Responsibilities
- Branch Operations And Portfolio Management
- Lead day-to-day branch activities and ensure implementation of programme procedures, targets and operational plans.
- Supervise Credit Officers and branch staff to achieve outreach, collection, recovery, disbursement and client-service targets.
- Review loan schemes, client documents, passbooks, collections, cash records, bank records and related branch documentation.
- Monitor portfolio quality, overdue trends, defaulted clients and recovery actions, and ensure timely corrective measures.
- Conduct client visits, group visits and field follow-ups to verify service quality, loan use, collections and client satisfaction.
- Analyse branch performance reports and prepare action plans to improve achievement against targets.
- Staff Supervision And Administration
- Conduct regular staff meetings, field coaching and performance discussions with branch teams.
- Ensure staff understand and follow operational manuals, safeguarding procedures, compliance

- Promote a safeguarding culture within the branch and ensure reportable incidents are handled according to policy.
- Maintain accurate branch records and prepare required reports for management review.

And Skills
in microfinance, savings and loans, financial services, branch operations or a related field.
Strong knowledge of cash and bank transactions, collections, reconciliation, loan documentation and branch controls.
Ability to supervise teams, analyse reports, manage targets and support client-facing operations.
Good Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong communication, report-writing, planning and problem-solving skills.
Three to five years of relevant working experience, preferably including supervisory responsibility.
